Load Cell Accuracy Class C6 – What does it mean?

Load Cell Accuracy Class C6 is load cells with C6 certification indicates the accuracy class of the load cell. It demonstrates that the load has passed a series of stringent tests to verify proper operation. C6 accuracy load cells are one of the highest achievement in truck scale load cell by some reputable manufacturing plants, including Sensocar S.A.U in Spain.

Technically, load cells operate based on NOMINAL SENSITIVITY (MV/V). It is the variation in the output signal of a load cell between the unloaded situation and full scale. Load cell accuracy is rated on its % rated output (R.O.), higher accuracy load cell will have lower %RO.

However, this is not considered legal in trading use as it does not comply to the OIML. Thus, many users accept such solution offered mainly due to price factors.
